Hallelujah Week 2019 [Day 3 – 27/11/2019]

“O that you may know what was happening in your life as you were calling out ‘wonder, wonder, wonder’. Wonders that will cause the nations to open their mouths and say, ‘Their God has been good to them’. Wonders that will cause you to open your mouth and declare, ‘God has been good to me’. Wonders that will make the doctors wonder at their certificates. Wonders that will make the economy take a different turn when it concerns you. Wonders that will cause even your village people to say, ‘It has never happened in that family like that before’. This is indeed the season and the times of signs and wonders like we haven’t seen them before and like I’ve said to you before, they won’t just happen for you, they will happen through you and by you”.

“These hands that are lifted up, they are the hands that I’ve been looking for. These hands that are lifted up, they are the hands that will be My hands”, says God’s Spirit. “For I have been looking for hands that will do the things I want to get done in these last days. Look at these beautiful hands all lifted up, they are the hands that will be My hands. They are the hands through which these wonders will happen. They are the hands that I have been waiting for. They are the hands I have empowered. They are the hands full of My grace”.

“In these times and seasons I’m leading you into, more and more, you will become aware that you, sitting here are spirit. And as you become more and more aware of that, you will become more and more aware of My Spirit, My Spirit, living within you; guiding you, teaching you, empowering you, doing mighty wonders and works through you. More and more aware, twenty-four hours of the day, seven days of the week, aware that you are spirit. I am Spirit and you are spirit. You may have a soul and live in a body but who you are, who you are, who you are, who you are, the you that shines, the you that overcomes, the who you are is spirit. And more and more, more and more, more and more, you will become aware, conscious, actively aware that you are spirit. You are spirit, you are spirit, you are spirit, and the rest of you will be ruled by this spirit that you are, empowered by My Spirit”.

I want to share something with you, I believe the Spirit of God laid on my heart to share with you. Some time ago, God told us how we needed to prepare for the times and the seasons, He started talking to us about. It will happen because the Spirit of God will show you. The kind of things that are in the heartbeat of God for us as individuals and as a church in the times and seasons He’s leading us into. I’m careful not to restrict it to 2020, because if you’ve been sensitive, you’ve noticed, that in the last two years, God has started saying something and it’s moving through the years with one message. If you read John 14,

9 Jesus said to him, (speaking to Phillip), “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
John 14:9-11

In answering Phillip, who said, “Show us the Father”, Jesus gave a very strong key in these verses of Scripture. And I believe when we get that key, and really get it as a revelation, it’s very fundamental to what we already know. It will make a change in how we step into what God has laid out in store for us.

A very simple key. He started by saying, “I am in the Father and the Father in Me”. Then He went on to say, “The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on My own authority but the Father who dwells in Me, does the works”.

There is something unusual: “words” and “works”. If you were to say that sentence in English, in any language actually, how would you say it? You would explain it like this: “The words I speak to you, I don’t speak of my own authority, it is the Father who dwells in Me that speaks the words”. That’s what makes sense. He’s talking about words. In the very same breath, He’s trying to explain His words; He ends up in works. “The words I speak to you, it is this Father who abides in Me, I just told you I am in the Father and the Father in Me. It is this Father who abides that says the words”. That’s the complete sentence. No, to complete the key, He says, “These words I speak, it is the Father who abides in Me that does the works”. In the English language, you’d say that is called synonyms. For Him to switch, it means the two words are basically the same thing or are interchangeable. It simply means that there is no difference between the words He spoke and the works He did. To Him, there is absolutely no difference. Jesus is our role model and further down in this chapter, you will see Him transfer the principles, we’re going to see now, to us by the Spirit. So, if it worked for Jesus, there is no difference between the words He spoke and the works He did.

What is that word? The words I speak to you. It is the word, rhema. Rhema is the utterance or spoken word. The difference between rhema and logos is, a rhema is a word that is revelation to you, it is specific to you for a particular situation, but it presupposes that there is a residue of logos in you. In other words, there is a logos bed you fish the rhema for that situation. Therefore, is it difficult to get a rhema? If there isn’t first of all, a logos? And how does the logos come? By preparing. By staying in the Word. I am in the Father and the Father, in Me. As I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, I will speak the words, I will begin to fish the rhema that comes out of that intimacy I’m having with the Father, and that rhema really translates into works, manifestations, actions, my hands becoming God’s hands as a result of My words, speaking His words – rhema. Do you have a rhema for that mountain or do you depend on my rhema? My rhema can’t be your rhema. I can throw the word at you, but you have to cast in your net, you find your own rhema. When you find your own rhema, and you speak it, it becomes a synonym immediately for the works or the manifestations that rhema stands for. Acts 5:32, says, “…We are His witnesses, to these things…” What things? “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus Christ whom you murdered by hanging Him on a tree, God Himself exalted to His right hand…” And so, He’s telling what happened. The things they saw and He says, we are witnesses to these things. The word, “things” there – rhema.

Another version says, “We bare testimony to these things”. Many times, we run after things, we’re running after things, we’re praising God for things; let’s backtrack, that’s the key. Before things, come the “words”. Before the words, before even the logos comes fellowship, intimacy. “I am in the Father and the Father in Me”. Do you know that it is possible to open your mouth and speak words but there is no power in those words because those words didn’t come out of the place of fellowship? They didn’t come out from a place of personal revelation. You cannot judge someone’s revelation only by what you hear them say. Anybody can say anything, but when you abide in Me. Do you see it’s on all fours with that Scripture? “If you abide in Me”, and what happens? “My words abide in you”, then what happens? “Whatever you ask, I will ginomai it for you. I will get it done for you”. But where it starts is from you abiding in Me and my words abiding in you, then you’ll ask anything, and that’s the end we all want: to ask anything.

But God told us that it’s time to lay aside the distractions that compete with Him for your attention. Jesus could say, “I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me. The words that I speak, I don’t speak them of My authority, it is the Father that does the works”. So, from the place of fellowship, you get the rhema word. You put it in your mouth; it becomes the machaira, that is, the sword of the Spirit, which is the rhema of God and you bring it out! And imagine, like a cartoon, as you bring the words, it transforms into the manifestation, it transforms into the works. It is birthed in the place of dwelling in Him; the word is fished out. There is so much power in our words; we cannot have the luxury of speaking anyhow. That is why He just told us to, “be Spirit aware”. When you are spirit aware, you won’t indulge your mind, and your body, by “speaking the way I feel” or “speaking out of my knowledge”. These are truths that make the difference between victory and failure. This is what makes you an overcomer; this is what makes your praise tangible. “Abide in Me and My words will abide in you, and you will become the hands I have been waiting for”.

Look at John 14.
Do, (listen) do you believe when I say that I’m in the Father and the Father is in Me? Okay, it says but if you cannot believe what I say, “Do you believe when I say these to you? Okay, if it is hard for you to believe, let Me bring a synonym”. He says, “If you cannot, then believe Me because of what you see Me do”.
John 14: 10-11 Phillips translation

Do you get it? “If you find it hard to believe Me, because of what I say, okay, don’t worry. Watch Me because that thing I say is translating into what I do, into works”. “So you can believe Me, based on what you see Me do because what you see Me do is what I say”. What will happen to you is what you say but it’s got to be a rhema, not just a logos from someone’s mouth. It’s got to be your own revelation, fished out in the place of abiding in Him and He in you, and the works that He’s done; greater works are happening through you. Greater works!

I see people in this congregation who would jump and step in like God told us yesterday. I see God use them to do great things because God is more eager than we are to get these great things done in these last days. I see great things, not just being done through you, but being done in you. I see vessels rising up. Vessels who have been prepared for years and decades. Vessels who are not ready to retire, but vessels who are just beginning. I see people who are set apart for great and mighty things because they have their time in Him and He in them. I see people who will know what to do in the face of sickness and disease. Not just sickness and disease on their own bodies, but sickness and disease on the bodies of other people; saved and unsaved alike. I see people so spirit-aware that their bodies are in complete subjection to the move of the Spirit in their lives.

I see courageous people. I see bold people. I see people defying all odds. I see people with the heart of a lion. People who have stopped looking at themselves because they would no longer look at their bodies and minds or their intellect. The strangest unlikely vessels are set to be used by the Father; I see it.

“Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot, cannot, cannot bear fruits of itself unless it abides in the vine. It cannot, it cannot, neither can you unless you abide in Me. It cannot bear fruits. It is impossible for it to bear fruit. Any attempt to bear fruit without this key becomes witchcraft. It cannot bear fruit. It cannot, it cannot bear fruits unless it abides in Me. Neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruits”. That’s the good news. “Much fruits bursting forth from those who abide in Me and I in him”. Not from those who come to church. It says nothing about coming to church. Not from those who work very hard in their departments, it says nothing about that. That is awesome; they are all good. Not even from those who pay their tithes and offerings. Those are great things and right things to do. But it says, “No. You cannot bear fruits unless you step in”. And so you have been in a place of intimacy and fellowship for many years and you think God has not noticed. That was your time of preparation. Now you need to step in. You will bear much fruits, much fruits, much fruits. The next person who tells you they have a fever or a temperature, lay your hands on them and command that fever to leave and it will leave because that has become a rhema to you in the place of abiding with Him. Much fruits, much fruits. “For without Me you can do nothing. If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. It shall be done for you”.

That is the power in the Word of God. When Mary said, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible” in Luke 1:37, she was saying literarily that absolutely no Word from God is empty and void of power. That’s what it means. Not just “for with God nothing shall be impossible”. In the Greek, it means absolutely no word, as long as it was birthed from God, can be void of power – adunatos – it is impossible. It is not possible for a word that came from God to be without power. If only we truly understood the power in the rhema spoken word. When you speak to a situation with your own revelation, not mine, not Pastor Sola’s, not your zonal pastor’s, not even your husband’s or your wife’s, nor your mom’s or your dad’s; absolutely no Word from God. That is so reassuring to me because all I need to do is stay plugged into the Word of God. That’s all. To know when to praise, to know when to worship, to know when to just read my Bible, when to study, take some notes, switch off the television, put off the social media. These may seem like things the church tells you, you know because the church is being boring. This is life and death, church. This is victory and failure. This is healing and health or sickness and disease. This is overcoming.

I am in the Father and Father is in Me. I love doing many things. I love to cook. It’s like I am getting older, I am loving it more. Cooking different new things, I love it. I just registered a course online to cook some new things I have not done before. That’s how much I love to cook, but I love nothing as much as spending time with the Word of God. That is my cocaine. That is my drug. That is my high. You can shut me down for two or three hours, I could be on one or two verses just stretching it, chewing it, fishing in that logos. Fishing till I get my own rhema word. And where I may have a hundred healing Scriptures, there may be two that are my machaira. As I speak it, the words translate into the work, and if you cannot believe me for the things you hear me say, you can believe me for the things you see happen to me and the things you see me do. That is your testimony.

He told us on Sunday, He is waiting. He is waiting. There is so much He has planned for us. This is still the Shift going on. So much. You are more prepared, He told us in July, you are more prepared than you realize. You are greater on the inside than you know. But you are spirit and God is Spirit. And as you abide in Him… You can’t be empty and not know what the Word of God says and expect to live in victory. The Bible says you cannot; it is impossible. Five years will turn to ten years. Ten years will turn to fifteen years. You cannot piggyback on somebody else’s revelation. You can piggyback to begin, at some point you become too heavy, you need to be dropped so another child can be piggybacked. A lot of us who are still hitchhiking and piggybacking. You are going to have to come down to find your feet because He needs your hands. And now you need to dive in. When you leave here, He is still with you. There may be nobody at the pulpit to lead praise or worship, go home and do same. Go home and do same.

At the end of praise on Tuesday, I just didn’t want to come back up here again. I literarily saw mountains melting. Just melting down. Some great things happened here this week and are still happening. If we shut down the Hallelujah Week now, God has met us. I literarily saw mountains melting like wax as we laughed and spent our credit. I hope Tuesday night wasn’t the last time you laughed. Stay in; jump in! Ha, ha, ha hallelujah! That is how we make our boast in the Lord. When that thing begins to confront you, look it in the face and tell it “Ha, ha, ha, hallelujah! You must be a joker. You make me laugh”. I am aware that there is nothing that confronts you in your spirit. Any confrontation you get is either in your mind or in your body. But God is a Spirit and when we stay, abide, meno in Him, spirit to Spirit, deep to Deep, every confrontation is beneath that level. That is the highest level to operate on. Let it be said about you that you are led by God’s Spirit.

We were discussing a couple in church by text and I said to Pastor Sola, “That couple… they are Spirit-led.” And he answered, “Exactly, Pastor”. That is my testimony as a pastor of that family. They are Spirit-led. They take Spirit-led decisions. Because they follow these patterns like they are new converts but they are far from new converts. Do they have circumstances come against them? You better believe it. But mountains melt like wax before them because, in all my years and decades of knowing them, I don’t recall ever hearing one word; I have never heard them make one comment in the deepest distress I have seen them go through, never one comment that goes contrary to what they have fished out from the place of fellowship. I don’t live with them, I am not even sure I have ever been to their house. So, it is not because I saw them praying.

If you can’t believe me for the things you hear me say, you will see it. That is the testimony of the times and the seasons we are stepping into. Give Him praise.
