I Am Relevant In His Scheme Of Things – G.C.

My last job was exactly ten years by March 2020 and in those years, I searched for a job that was worth my time, while rejecting certain opportunities that seemed more natural. It was a ten-year period where God taught me a lot of lessons about life. I am particularly grateful for a meeting I had with Pastor Nkechi Ene. In that meeting, I learnt how to rate issues on their scale of importance. I had become quite choosy about what offends me. I learnt to ignore a lot of things that otherwise would infuriate me and bring about friction in my relationship with other people. As a result, my family, my husband especially, now enjoys a better mother and wife. I had mentioned to an old friend that I wanted an administrative job. She asked me to forward my CV to her organization which I did. In March, while away for my mother-in-law’s burial, I missed some calls from unknown numbers which I couldn’t return immediately due to the many activities that usually accompany burials. A few days later, I returned some of those calls and was asked to appear on a certain date with copies of my certificates at a hospital. That was it. I got disturbed when I discovered it was from a Federal Government-owned hospital. I hold a degree in Theatre Arts, though my last job was administrative in nature. I kept wondering how an Art’s degree holder would fit into that organization. My husband joked that they would have to create a position for me if need be and that was exactly what happened. Also, my decision not to falsify my age and anything in my documents earned me the respect of my employers. While some degree holders were offered positions that required only School Certificate, I got employed as a senior staff. I was given a job that fits like a glove with my personality. The lessons I learnt under Pastor Nkechi came in handy quite often. I have been getting recommendations every other month from my department and the department where I am posted. Normally, we are posted to a new department every two months, but the department where I was initially posted refused to release me, citing that they have not had it this good in a very long while. I am gradually being moved into supervisory roles, all within eight months of working there. Knowing the way I used to be, I dare to say that some of these things wouldn’t have been possible if not for that life-defining meeting with Pastor Kech. I had learnt a long time ago to sow seeds into the life of the people God put over me. My harvest came in the form of one word of advice from my pastor which has, as it were, transformed my life. I am a better person today. I have a job that fits me. I get a lot of testimonies from people on how my work touched their lives. My husband is happy that I have finally got the kind of job he has preached to me about for ten years. I am fulfilled knowing that God never abandoned me and that I am relevant in His scheme of things. God takes all the glory for what He has done in and for me. Thank you, Pastor Kech, for that meeting and the way you keep pouring yourself into this ministry. God who called you will reward you richly. Thank you all.

We Give God All The Glory For The Birth Of Our Baby – C.A

My wife and I have been married for over two years, and I was not disposed to having children immediately. However, my wife wanted to. When we were ready to have children, it seemed there was a delay. We had even started preliminary tests to confirm everything was okay.During the last Hallelujah Week of 2019, Pastor Kech asked couples who had been married for years and do not yet have children to give a shout to God as babies are scattering in TCC. We did in great excitement and faith. My wife informed me that she was pregnant. We were happy because we had other outstanding tests to be done, but they were now cancelled because of the good news.During the last Carpenter’s Place Live (Our Testimony Service) of 2019, my wife was bleeding.Well, I didn’t take it to heart because I was sure how our baby was conceived. A dear sister called me to ask if we were concerned, and my response to her was that I wasn’t careful in this regard. I spoke to my wife and told her to remain calm, that our baby was going to be born perfect. However, she went for a scan which showed a threatened abortion. Again, we were not worried because every morning, as we left the house, we always saw our testimony bulletin listing our miracles on our doorpost. The pregnancy was smooth with not a single complication of any sort.On the evening of July 20th, 2020, my wife complained of some pains and I joined her in bed to keep her company while calling up my FOG (Family Outreach Group) members to know how they were faring. On attempting to get up to ease herself, my wife noticed the bed was wet. We were not expecting our baby at this time. We still had a few weeks to go, but we proceeded to the clinic as advised by a renowned Professor of neonatology in church. My wife was admitted for observation and she urged me to go home as I need to be at work the next day. However, at past 11:00 p.m., she made a frantic call that I come back with the packed suitcases for the baby and herself.I quickly drove to the hospital and before I could go up the stairs and come down, which was less than five minutes, I heard the cry of Chimkasi Sozo Asika. Later on, my wife told me the nurses were amazed it was her first pregnancy because, at first check, she had already 10cm dilated. It is worthy of note to say that our presiding pastor, Pastor Nkechi (Mrs.) stayed awake with us till our baby was born, although I had protested. For this, we are grateful.A week later, our baby was diagnosed with jaundice; this period was really a trying one for us. However, through the strength of God, prayers of friends and family, the medical team, and our delectable Pastor Kech, our baby was discharged three days later. She has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. We give God all the glory.

God Literally Did Not Let My Foot Be Moved – G.T.

On Friday, 20th November 2020, at about 6:45 a.m., we had just dropped off my husband at a park and heading back to get on with the day’s activities. We made a turn, got to an intersection, and stopped to give way to vehicles from the other side of the road. A few minutes later, it was quite a shock realising that our car had just been hit. I was still trying to comprehend what had just happened. Within seconds, the vehicle which had hit our car, a sewage truck, continued driving right against ours scraping my side of the car as it went. It eventually came to a halt some meters ahead. What struck me was the fact that I had my two children behind and yet with the impact, I neither heard a sound nor a word from them. I sat in the car frozen with two major thoughts running through my head: “What had just happened? Why was the car so quiet?” The quietness in the car was so loud, yet I found myself unable to turn around. With onlookers beckoning to me, I eventually moved the car to the kerb. As I parked the car, I heard their first words following the incident. Simultaneously, they both asked, “Mummy, what happened?”. At that moment, I quickly turned around assessing them to see that they were okay. They were fine, we were all fine and there was not a scratch whatsoever, though I was visibly shaken. Realising I couldn’t get down through my door, I had to go through the front passenger’s door. On seeing the damage that had been done: a torn tyre, a broken bumper, two doors somewhat torn, and a broken side mirror amongst a few other things. I immediately realized that God was with us and I began to praise Him. Psalm 121:8 says that the Lord preserves our going out and our coming in. The driver of the sewage truck explained that he tried to apply his brake and found out that he couldn’t. So, in avoiding the street lights on his left he ran into us. Eyewitnesses, passers-by, and onlookers were amazed to see that my second daughter was fast asleep. “Dis pikin dey sleep inside this kain tin”, was what we kept hearing. Like Pastor said to me Jesus was there with us! He gave the children peace in the midst of the storm! Perhaps if they had screamed, it may have destabilized me, maybe causing my foot to let go of the brake. Psalm 121:3 says, “He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber”. God literally did not let my foot be moved. I thank God for this mighty deliverance for my family and me. I thank God for Pastor Kech, Pastor Sola, the assistant pastors, and the undiluted Word that is preached here. I also thank God for the TC Cubs’ leadership and teachers. We will continually declare Psalm 91, “…For He gives His angels charge over us…”. Surely God’s goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we will dwell in His house forever. Amen!

Overcoming Impossible Situations – Pastor Charles Omofomah

1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. 2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. 3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. 4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. 5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. 6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. 7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it. 8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me. 9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. 10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. 11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. Daniel 2:1-11 (KJV) The Scriptures in Daniel 2:1-11 give a vivid account of Daniel, facing and overcoming an impossible situation. King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and his spirit was troubled to know the meaning. He called the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to interpret his dream. However, he wouldn’t tell them the dream; on the contrary, he asked them to tell him his dream instead and also give the interpretation. That way, he would know they were not lying. In response to this, the Chaldeans said, “No one has ever asked this from mere mortals before. It is impossible with men. It is only the gods that can reveal this, and these gods don’t dwell among men”. Verse 12 of Daniel 2 further tells us that the king became very angry and furious, and commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be killed. Unfortunately, this included Daniel and his companions. When Daniel heard about this, he did something. In this article, we will learn four very important lessons from Daniel’s response to the king’s request. 15 He answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. 16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: 18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. Daniel 2:15-22 (KJV) Take Advantage Of Your Access To The King The first thing you must know if you are going to overcome impossible situations is that you have open access to the King. Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time. If Daniel could ask Arioch, the king’s captain who was told to carry out the execution, “Why is the decree so hasty from the king?” and after he was told, he went to the king and asked him to give him time, that means Daniel knew he had access to the king. That is very instructive. If you are going to overcome every obstacle and situation that men call impossible, you must take advantage of the access you have to the King. When the Chaldeans added that the dream can only be revealed by the gods, and these gods do not dwell among men, they were in effect saying that they don’t have access to the gods; but you’ve got access to your King. Take advantage of the access you have, and go into His presence, especially when He has given you an open invitation. The Bible says you should come boldly and obtain mercy and find grace to help in a time of need (Hebrews 4:16). No matter what the situation is, take advantage of the access you have towards the King. Take Advantage Of The Time The second thing you must know is that you must take advantage of the time you have. When David asked the king for some time, he didn’t go back to do irrelevant things or while away in dirty jokes; he took advantage of the time he had obtained. Don’t waste your time on irrelevant things, study your Bible, and pray in

Wealth

I declare in the name of Jesus Christ that I am blessed. On the cross,Jesus became poor for me, so that I through His povertymight be made rich. The curse of poverty is far from me.I am totally free from lack in my spirit, my soul, and my body. By faith, I declare that I have a rich unending supply. Both wealth and riches are in my house. I acknowledge my Father, God as the source of my wealth. He is God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; He is the Owner, and I am the steward. All things in heaven and earth are His.Riches and honour come from Him. All things come from Him,and all I give to Him came from Him in the first place.I am a faithful steward, therefore I worship Him,the Owner, with the tithes of all my increase. I honour the Lord with my substance and with the first and bestof all my increase and so my barns are filled with plenty, and presses burst out with the new wine. My storeand accounts have goods in quality and quantity because I make sacrifices and put God first. I will have what I say! My Father is making all grace abound towards me so thatI have sufficiency in all things and so that I have abundanceto give generously to the work of God and to give untoothers. I understand that the primary purpose of my wealthis the furtherance of the kingdom of God on the earth. I obey the Lord and Him alone. I serve Him and Him alone. As I obey and serve Him, I spend my days inprosperity and my years in pleasure. As I keep onseeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, all the things I need are being added unto me. I will have what I say! As God increases me materially, I do not become high-minded.I remain humble before God. I do not trust in theuncertainty of riches but in the living God, who givesme richly all things to enjoy. I do good, I am rich ingood works, I am ready to give, I remain willing toshare what God has given to me. The Lord has opened unto me His good treasure,His vault, His storehouse – fully openedup to me! Therefore I open my heart wide open andbelieve all He says to me; I open my mind wide openand receive beyond my imaginations. I open my eyes wide openand see what wealth He has laid before me. I openmy mouth wide open and as I call it forth, He will fill it.I open my hands wide open and plunder for Hehas brought abundance to me. Jehovah is my bank balance and I am a distributioncentre for the kingdom of God in Jesus’ Name.Amen.

Healing And Health

Jesus was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement and the punishment of my peace were laidupon Him, and with His stripes, I am healed. I have peace;I have shalom, there is nothing missing and nothing broken in my body. Jesus, Himself took my infirmities and bore my diseases. By His stripes,I was healed. If I was healed two then thousand years ago,I am healed right here and now. My healing is a done deal. Jesus is my healer. He is my doctor. He is my physician. He is the fixer, mender, and restorer of my body.I declare that everything that needs to be fixed, mended, and restored in my body has been done. Himself bore my sins in His body on the cross so that,I, having died to sins might live unto righteousness, and by His stripes, I was healed. Therefore, I boldly declarethat I am not the sick trying to be healed; I amthe healed resisting the lying symptoms of sickness and disease. In Christ Jesus, I have received a clean bill of health, and on the basisof His finished work, I boldly declare that I am healed. I declare that all lying symptoms have given way;they are removed from the root; they have disappeared, anddissipated. No matter how long they have been, they havefaded away. No matter how stubborn they have provedto be, they are not stronger than the Word of God,and so they are dissolved. Every part of my body, every cell, every organ, every system is performing perfectly and optimally.God’s Word is life to me; it is medicine to everypart of my body, and producing healing and health. I know what is happening in my body – The Spirit of Himwho raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me andis alive in me. He who raised Christ from the dead isgiving life – Zoe life, resurrection life to my mortal body throughHis Spirit Who dwells in me. The production of life is anongoing, ever-present activity in my body. As it was said concerning Israel of old that there was no one feebleamong their tribes, so we declare that we are all healed in thisgreat assembly, TCC. There is no sickness here, there is no diseasehere for we are the healed body of Christ. There is certainly no barrenness here and babies are scattering in TCC.!!!Baby boys are here! Baby girls are here!Twins are here! Even triplets are here!!Hallelujah! We have what we say. We say we are healed. We say we are fruitful. We have healing, health, fruitfulness, and life!Amen.

Long Life

I declare that long life is mine as a child of God. I have made the right choices. I choose life and length of days. Each day, I remember that I have made an appointment with life more abundantly. I choose wisdom, and I possess the length of days she holds in her hands I choose the fear of the Lord and my days are prolonged;my years shall not be shortened.I serve the Lord my God, and He blesses my food and water. He keeps me healthy, and He is committed to giving me a long, full life. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of theAlmighty. I say of You Lord, You are my refuge and my fortress; You are my God in whom I trust. With long life, You satisfy me, andYou show me Your salvation. I keep the Word of God which He has given me, and it goes well with me.My days are prolonged on the earth which the Lord has given me.I hear and receive God’s words, and the years of my life aremany as I walk in the paths of wisdom in whichI have been taught, and the right paths He leads me in. I am righteous, so I flourish like a palm tree; I grow like a cedar in Lebanon. I am planted in the house of the Lord and I flourish in the courts of my God.Even in my old age, I will continue to bear fruit, I will be fresh and will flourish. My youth is renewed like the eagle. Even to my old age, He is the One who will carry me.He will bear me and deliver me. Like a sheaf gathered up in its season, I will come to the gravein a ripe old age. The grave will not come to me.My confidence is in God who raises the dead, who delivered mefrom so great a death, and does deliver me;in whom I trust that He will still deliver me. Hallelujah!! I am kept by the Holy Ghost and I bask in my Covenant of long life.
