On Sunday, 24th of April 2016, I was on my way back from a friend’s occasion at about 9:00 p.m. that evening when I ran into a suspended electric pole along Chinda Road, which had fallen as a result of the heavy rainfall during the day. The echo was so loud that people in the neighborhood came out en masse to see who must have been injured or even died in the accident as usual, but to their greatest shock and amazement, irrespective of the speed at which I hit the pole, nothing happened to the car or me.
They couldn’t believe what they saw. All they could say was, “Your car is strong and your hands are clean.” In response, I smiled saying, “It isn’t about how rugged the car is nor about my hands being clean, it is absolutely the work of God Almighty.” They were still in shock when I drove off. I thank the Lord God Almighty for giving me shalom (His peace) – nothing missing, nothing broken. Only He could have done this. May His Name alone be praised!
