Sometimes they will
Seem long
Sometimes they will
Seem short
Other times they will
Feel narrow and tight
Other times they will
Feel wide and open

Remember I am the Lord
I am not constrained
By time or space
I am with you
Every step of the way

So you must not turn away
To the right or the left
You must stay on

Sometimes they will
Seem high like the mountaintop
Some other times they will seem low like the valley
Other times they will
Feel smooth and easy
And other times they will
Feel winding and rough

Remember I am the Lord,
I am not moved
By circumstances or obstacles
I am with you
Every step of the way

Sometimes they will
Seem empty and barren
Sometimes they will be
Full of fruit ready-to-reap
Other times they will
Feel dry like the desert
And at other times they will
Be moist like the dew of heaven
