Full Term Pregnancy

20 weeks into the pregnancy during a routine antenatal check, the doctor noticed my wife’s cervix was open, a very delicate situation. In fact, the doctor was surprised that the baby was still in tact. A minor operation was done which involved tying the cervix with a twine which the doctor promised will be removed at 37 weeks and was actually done.

At about 29 weeks into the pregnancy during a routine check, the doctor noticed that the amniotic sac fluid was too low and because of that, the baby needed to be removed as soon as possible, since she felt it can not sustain the baby till full term. We did not want a premature baby. So we refused and opted to trust God. Negative thoughts, bad signs followed immediately, and at a point the devil was playing on us. My wife called the church Secretary to book an appointment to see Pastor Charles, but instead Pastor Charles called and agreed with my wife in prayer.

About 4 weeks later during a routine check, the same Doctor saw the fluid splashing over during an ultra scan and came to terms that the fluid level had normalized. The baby came to full term and came out safely.
