I'm a part time student and a worker with a monthly pay of about #25,000 40% was for my tithe, offering, budget pledge and Freshdew. Another 40% was for my rent. Each month after doing that I usually had barely #5,000 to take me through the month. I used to be stranded after about two weeks and I would literally start asking for assistance from friends and colleagues. I had been independent for most of my life. So believing God for my supply was a difficult task, but the Holy Spirit kept urging me that He was my source and the Word in Church assured me that I don't have any alternative when I chose to trust God. I made up my mind to trust God directly and quit borrowing and begging. It wasn't a sweet experience.

Initially, I had to trek miles from my office or house to school. But after a few weeks from that decision my breakthrough started coming. Within a space of thee weeks, I had two more jobs, such that I had to give out one. The first one pays nearly twice my salary and the second one actually twice my salary. Most recently, I've gotten another job. Within this same period, I received a lot of gifts and household items. God's favour has been overwhelming. I can now pay my bills comfortably as well as go to school without trekking.

Obedience to God's Word and trusting Him without an alternative is necessary to experiencing the infallible proofs of His Word.
