This is a week of prophecy, revelation and destiny, because our Father has good plans for us. It is a week of praise and honouring Him, a week of keeping Him in the spotlight, where He belongs, and where all honour, all glory, all might and all adoration belong to Him who sits on the throne forever. I wanted to share this with you yesterday, but it was changed for today.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
2 Corinthians 9:8
Can you guess who is refered to as “he has dispersed abroad?” The best place to find out who Paul refered to or quoted as “dispersing abroad,” is to go back to where it was originally written.
1 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.
4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.
9 He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.
10 The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish.
Psalm 112
What I’d like you to see in these portions of Scripture is that it talks about dispersing, which is the same as distributing, scattering, and also means penetrating. When it says disperse abroad, it means to penetrate far places with what is scattered. As it talks about distributing and scattering wealth, it also talks about righteousness at the same time. We see words like His righteousness endures forever, the upright man, the just man, righteous, righteousness.
Let me say this to you: it is an act of righteousness to distribute. When thinking about righteousness, people often think about how hard they pray, how properly they dress, how they make their hair and if they are decent or indecent. Yet, one of the greatest manifestations of righteousness is the ability to distribute. Listen, your ability to distribute is embedded in your DNA. It is actually contrary to your nature as a righteous man to be selfish. Your nature as a just or a righteous man is to distribute. Why? Because to distribute is an act of faith, and only the just can live by faith. You cannot distribute without faith, you cannot express faith if you are not righteous. So when you got born again, God took away the selfish nature. He took away the “me, myself and I” nature. And He put in you the ability to disperse abroad, to penetrate far places with His grace. That is who you are church! Understand that this is your nature, and it is the sole guarantee that wealth and riches will always be found in your house.
What does it mean to be righteous? It means you are a righteous or a just man, and you are the only category of persons who can live by faith. You cannot live by faith if you are not righteous. You cannot distribute, scatter abroad, penetrate deep places like prisons, the streets, or build God’s kingdom with your own finances if you are not righteous. Why? You can’t live by faith if you are not righteous. The Bible says Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness. Abraham didn’t have the righteousness you have, because Jesus had not died and risen at that time. But because Abraham operated by faith, he got a post-dated credit of righteousness. Why? He did only what righteous people could do, which is operating by faith. It is in your DNA to operate by faith, it is in your DNA to distribute, it is in your DNA to send laughter to the world like God told us yesterday. It is in your DNA to disperse and scatter His grace, and wealth and riches will never cease from your homes.
I declare to you by the grace of God, and by the anointing of God and as your Pastor, that wealth and riches will never cease from your home. These seasons and cycles of distribution are birthing seasons and cycles of abundance, abundance that will take you to higher levels of distribution as you begin to operate in higher levels of faith.
“For you have it all within you. I’ve put it all within you. I said I’ve put it all within you,” says God. “It’s all within you. There is a heavy deposit of My grace within you. I didn’t hold anything back the day you became righteous. In an instant you became righteous, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, when you accepted My son, in that instant you became righteous. And I unleashed and poured all of My grace into you. Because My grace is in you, you have all it takes to scatter abroad, and spread My grace, and penetrate the ends of the earth with My grace. For that is my purpose for you.”
May He who supplies seed to the sower, from the depths of the grace within you, cause the seed to come forth. And may He who gives bread to the eater, from the depths of grace within you, cause the bread to come forth. He will not only multiply the seed you have sown, but He will increase the fruits of your righteousness, the evidence of your righteousness, and the manifestation that you are a just man, that wealth and riches will never depart from your home.
The fruits of your righteousness are evident when you disperse and you scatter abroad. When you read further down, the Bible says there will be abundant thanksgiving on your behalf by those whom you have brought laughter to, through your distribution and through your thanksgiving. Have a different perspective on what it means to be a righteous man. A righteous man has the DNA of the Father, and the Father held nothing back, therefore a righteous man holds nothing back, because everything has been poured into him.
