During a recent testimony service, someone testified on how they miraculously got a car. I just spoke in tongues and declared that mine was next, and totally forgot about it. I Listened to Pastor Nkechi’s series Another Economic System based on Isaiah 55:1-6, and it made me to continually confess that I will buy without money and without price. I took it further, so I always read it out loud to my husband and he would reply with a sharp amen and we would both laugh over it. This also helped him in his business as the money for a particular contract was not available to do a particular contract, but God brought someone to do it in his name.
After service on the day of our 25th anniversary celebration, I was waiting for my husband to get our car from the park because we were to return some of the items used for serving refreshments that afternoon, but I noticed he was taking longer than normal. So, I decided to go and meet him at the car park. I discovered that the car had refused to start. The devil had plans, but definitely God had gone ahead of him. My husband checked the car but couldn’t find any fault, so he wasn’t happy and I could see it on his face. With my usual smile I encouraged him not to allow the devil steal his praise and told him that his next car would be better than the present. He quickly responded with his usual fast amen and we both laughed over it.
That evening, my aunt called to ask that I should help her with preparations for her son’s graduation party during the weekend, and I agreed. I went to her house on a Friday evening in preparation for the next day’s event. While working the following morning, my uncle came into the kitchen and asked if I’ve learnt to drive? I told him that I was learning. He came back and asked for my husband’s name, even insisting that I spell it correctly. I was a bit uncomfortable, but just felt he wanted to know my husband’s name so he could pronounce it properly or not forget when addressing my husband.
Twenty minutes later, my uncle and his wife handed me a document and I wondered what it was about. I didn’t know what it was because everything happened so fast. As I read through the paper I exclaimed, “Oh my God. A change of car ownership!” The document reads, “This Honda Accord…, now belongs to Favour…” All I could do was scream that this was indeed buying without money and without price. I immediately remembered the last testimony service where I declared that I would testify and that was it.
God is indeed an amazing God. Words are not enough to thank the Father for this great and wonderful miracle my husband and I received from Him. Pastor Nkechi is indeed a good shepherd and a mother who takes her time to teach the undiluted Word of God. Thank you Lord for directing me to The Carpenter’s Church.
