Wired To Live Long

I traveled to Umuahia to see my grandmother and drop some things with her. After I finished with her, I went to my own place to pick up some things. I left home a bit late. Knowing I was running late, I decided not to go to the park. Rather, I waited by the roadside for a bus. I got a bus going to Aba along the road. I took a little nap inside the bus because I was fagged out. When I woke up I discovered that we were heading in the wrong direction so I asked the conductor what was happening. He told me to shut up! It was then I realized I was in the midst of ritualists.

They made a call to hand us over to somebody and at that point I remembered what Pastor Sola Kolade once said concerning Pastor Charles being “Wired to live long”. I said to myself that I was wired to live long.

We got to a point where we were dropped and asked to lie down. I stood up and walked up to one of the guys in whose custody we were held and pleaded with him. He asked his partner to allow us go, but the partner asked what they would tell their boss when he comes. When we heard their conversations we asked them to let us all escape. After much deliberation they pointed us to a pathway, which we used as an escape route. We all came out without injuries and with all our valuables. I got to Port Harcourt safe and sound except for a weak ankle after all the running. Glory be to God forever!
