WHEN YOU PRAY, BELIEVE

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Mark 11:24

24 Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 2:24

I have seen too many believers say things like, “I know God will heal me.” That is not a statement of faith. Which God will heal you? Is it the, “I will be that I will be”? No, He is “I AM that I AM.” If it is faith, you are healed now. It is not, “You will be.” Have you not read 1 Peter 2:24? Read it again and again. The tense is clearly written. Other religious Christian lingo is, “One day it will get better and God will come through for me.” What will need to happen before you will realize that God came through for you when He gave up His most precious sacrifice to the brutal, torturous death on Calvary so that you might live life more abundantly?

Mark 11:24 doesn’t say when you pray, “Look to see if something has changed.” It says, when you pray believe. What a lot of us do when we pray especially where it concerns our bodies is that we check. Whether or not something changed is not the issue. Somebody says, “Well, what if five weeks from now nothing has changed, will I still be in faith?” Why go to five weeks from now? Faith is now. Monday be in faith, Tuesday be in faith, next week Monday, be in faith. When it is next month what time are you in? Now! You are in now. So when you are in “now” is when you are in faith. You have no business worrying about whether or not you will be in faith tomorrow. Be concerned about being in faith today. When today becomes tomorrow, tomorrow will be today and then you become in faith today and still are in faith because faith is now. That is why faith does not give God deadlines and say, “God if by next week Tuesday you haven’t done it, I am out of it.” Faith expects a manifestation of what it believes every second.

Confession:
When I pray, I believe that I receive all the things I ask for. I don’t base my faith on what I see, because I believe by faith that I have received. I am in faith right now and I expect a manifestation of what I believe every second.
