I want to thank Pastor Nkechi Ene (Mrs.) for helping us restore our marriage.

My wife and I loved each other but we had bought so many lies and our marriage deteriorated to a point where we could not see hope or light at the end of the very dark tunnel we were in. It was a fact that our marriage of over seven years was a forgotten issue headed for the rocks, based on what I considered as disrespect and disloyalty from my wife and what she saw as a lack of attention and commitment from me. Our lovely children became victims of what they knew nothing about, as there was always tension in the home and as accusations and suspicions increased. Unforgiveness and pain became the order of the day.

When we met with Pastor Nkechi, she told us in plain terms that our marriage was not a hopeless case and that all we needed was to build a new foundation and start afresh. She asked if we would just believe that things could change and commit ourselves to the help she had in mind for us. We had no option since we were at the end of the road. We agreed to do whatever she asked us to do even though we had no clue as to what lay ahead of us. At some point, she assigned us to a Premarital Counselor and an Assistant Pastor who took us through the church’s premarital counseling classes as though we were a couple about to be wedded. We were told to forget all we knew about marriage and just start afresh. After weeks of marriage counseling, we turned a new page and a new day was born for us! God began to do a great work in our family as we practiced what we were taught.

I realized that it was not all about what I thought I knew but by what I put into my marriage. There has been a tremendous improvement in our communication as a couple. I make bold to say that there has been a great improvement in our marriage and my lovely wife has come to stay as was originally planned by God. Our love life is great! My wife now looks me in the eyes and tells me lovely things and I can do the same for her. We thank God for His restoration.
