4 Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

Ecclesiastes 8:4

5 And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1:5-6

Where the word of a king is, there is power. That simply means a king rules by decrees. You and I are kings. If the Scripture says that God has made us kings and priests, then it means that He has made us to rule by decrees, that is, by our words.

When a king says, “Henceforth, this is what will obtain in my kingdom,” nobody can challenge him. Are you ready to say to diseases, “You can no longer exist in my body”? Are you ready to say to poverty, “No more lack”? Are you ready to say to situations, “You will not put me under any more”? Are you ready to come out from under the circumstances? A lot of Christians say, they are under the circumstances, and there is nothing they can do. You can do something and come out from under the circumstance. You can be on top of circumstances and rule over them. You can rule over them by your words.

No king worth his salt, goes about with his hands on his head in dismay, just because he received a threat from a subject in his kingdom. If he reacts this way, then he is not fit to be a king. He is a wimp – a weakling. We are not wimpy kings. We are the kind of kings that know what to do. When we see things that have been put under our subjection going against us, we simply decree what we want.

Stop shouting and crying and saying things like: “This disease will kill me.” You are the king. You decide what happens. Do not carry a slave mentality any more. Refuse the mentality that will give the enemy and his cohorts the opportunity to mess around with you.

I am a king. I rule by my words. My words have power in my life. I am victorious and I rule and reign all the days of my life.
