14 The sower sows the word.
Mark 4:14
God’s Word is seed! A seed is a powerhouse but it is usually overlooked. A seed is loaded with potential and has so much content packed into it. If the Scripture talks about a sower sowing the Word, then it means that the Word is seed because a sower sows seeds. How do you get your hands on this seed powerhouse? Friend, the Word is near you, it is right there in your mouth (Romans 10:8). The Word of faith has been supplied to you by your Father in heaven.
The Bible says, “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10). God supplies bread to the eater and seed to the sower. Open your eyes and look around you even in the midst of the darkness of this world and the deceit of false prophets and hireling pastors, there is still an abundant supply of the Word of faith.
That is the beauty of God’s grace. The Word is on the Internet, on television, on the radio, and even in books such as this one you are holding in your hands! What are you doing with the Word of faith? Sow the Word!
Sow the seed of the Word of God in your life, for in every situation there is a relevant Word of faith that you can find. Sow the seed of the Word by reading, meditating and speaking the Word of faith. When you sow the Word of faith, you access the provision that the grace of God has laid up for you, before the foundation of the world. Sow the Word of God on healing and health and when sickness comes against you, you can open your mouth and begin to release the healing Word that has been sown in your heart. Believe me, the sickness will turn around and flee saying, “Sorry I made a mistake coming here!”
Confession:
I am committed to sowing the seed of the Word of God in my heart. I will stay connected to my supply of the Word of faith and I will speak the Word of faith day and night.
