The Name of The Lord Is A Strong Tower

The Holy Spirit has consistently been on my matter ever since we became friends. Just like our pastor says, it is not a luxury to hear from God. Please be encouraged as I share of His divine presence in my world, He is simply amazing.

I woke up to notice a swelling on my upper pelvis early this year. I cursed it and decided to ignore it but when the pain persisted, I told my wife and we broke bread. She advised I let Pastor who is also my boss know. After typing the message to forward to Pastor, I had a rethink and decided not to bother her with it. To my greatest surprise Pastor called me a day later rebuking me for not at least going for a check-up. Sincerely, I was dumb founded as to how my message saved in draft got to Pastor. My wife confirmed she didn’t do it. “Who then did?” I asked. Food for thought, I guess.

In summary, some days to my surgery which was scheduled for the 22nd of March 2020, I was called to pick my son up from school because he was stooling and throwing up. Later that day, he was admitted in a hospital in town. While we were there, I got a call from my house saying my eldest daughter is also stooling and throwing up. I decided immediately to move them to the hospital I was supposed to have my surgery in. I had all my children and later on my wife moved and admitted to the same hospital where I was billed to have surgery. I thank God for His Word that is taught in TCC. I kept regurgitating them: “Healing is my children’s bread; I count it all joy when I fall into various trials; the Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe”. I had so much peace that even when I knew I had spent all my funds in the hospital, I never panicked or doubted my Jehovah Jireh who will always see to all the outrageous bills. Five days later, we all got home hale and hearty, nothing missing, and nothing broken, and debt free to the glory of God.

I am so grateful to my God for being a part of The Carpenter’s family. God bless my Mum in Israel; she literally held my hand as a son throughout this period. Thanks to Pastor Sola, the assistant pastors, Pastor Tayo, Professor Ene, and some of my departmental members. The design team wowed us: They practically took turns in the hospital.

Thank You my Father, may Your name alone be praised forever and ever in Jesus’ name. Amen!
