Sometime in 2009, I was arrested and taken to the prison. I gave my life to Christ through the teaching of God's Word by Pastor Nkechi Ene though I was granted bail, I had nobody to meet the conditions set for my bail and pursue my case to ensure my total release. Then I hooked unto a message by Pastor Nkechi titled, Mephibosheth in Covenant. She talked about how Mephibosheth was in Lodebar but was remembered by King David and taken out of Lodebar to the King's palace. She also preached another message on how a little child gave up his bread for a better one. With that, I decided to give up my whole heart to Christ believing God for a change of story.

Yet another message came titled, From Grass to Grace to Glory (Part 1). Then I changed my prayer topic in line with the teachings and all of a sudden, the Chief Judge of Rivers State came to the prison to release prisoners, and I who was forgotten by men, was among the people who were released free of charge. Finally, my release papers were signed on the 22nd of April 2010.

I want to thank God for turning the heart of the king to favour me. All the glory, honour and adoration be unto Him alone that is able to release and discharge the helpless from captivity.

I want to use this medium to thank The Carpenter's Church and Pastor Nkechi on behalf of Port Harcourt prison inmates for feeding the prisoners with the Word of God and with the kind of food they would never have dreamt of eating while in prison. Pastor, you are more than a pastor to the prisoners. I don't know what to call you: you are indeed a mother. You have really fulfilled the Scripture in the lives of men especially myself. I have now known my importance as a child of God.

The Carpenter's Church is the best Church that brings out its treasure to satisfy the souls of people. The most important thing today is the spiritual freedom, which I now have. May God bless you above all your peers in Jesus' Name.
