8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8
Too many of us do not have enough. We live from hand to mouth, from paycheck to paycheck. For how long will this continue? I want to put this question to you: Do you have the guts to have more than enough? Are you bold enough to go for more than enough in your life?
This does not make sense to some of us because we already think that we have more than enough. Probably because you drive two second hand cars, have an annual vacation, and earn a salary with six figures, you consider yourself as having “more than enough.” Friend, you need to begin to think like God. As much as we do not want to despise the days of little beginnings, we also do not want to stay on any mountain for too long. God deals with man in stages, but one stage must give way to a higher stage.
The “more than enough” I am talking about is more than enough as Jehovah considers more than enough. His name is El Shaddai. That name means “the God who is more than enough.” His realm of “more than enough,” is not like that of those of us who think we have more than enough. That is why I am asking you: Can you dare to have more than enough? I have made up my mind that I am going to take the challenge. I have made up my mind that I am going to dare to have more than enough from El Shaddai’s realm of more than enough. I am going to break barriers of wealth and be so wealthy that I can preach the gospel from one end of the earth to the other.
Some Christians get very uncomfortable when you talk about money. They are too “spiritual” to talk about money. If you are in that category, then you do not know about God’s “more than enough.” You need to know why He wants you to have more than enough.
Confession:
Father, Your Name is El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. I make up mind to experience more than enough so that the gospel can be preached from one end of the earth to the other.
