I want to thank God for the gift of speaking loud in other tongues at the age of eight years. After giving my life to Christ at The Carpenter's Cubs (Children's Church), I was sleeping one night when I felt a tap and heard “Get up, I want to give you something.” When I got up, I didn't see anyone but I knew I had heard the voice clearly. When I realized that it was the Spirit of God, the next thing I knew was that I began speaking a language I couldn't understand and then after a while, the Spirit said I could sleep in peace. The next morning, I found myself speaking loud in other tongues and it continued without my mom and dad's knowledge.

As my mom took my sister and I to school one day, she made us listen to Pastor Nkechi's message titled “Eight Reasons Why Every Believer Should Speak In Tongues” which triggered me to pray in tongues. My mom was shocked to hear me pray in tongues. She asked who taught me how to pray in tongues and I told her what happened. From that day I have always been called on for prayers. In my class I am always called up to pray and my friends now address me as a pastor.
