The Fear Of Cancer Is Now A Thing Of The Past

I want to use this opportunity to thank Pastor Nkechi for being a blessing to my life. Since 2005 when I started attending The Carpenter's Church, my life has not been the same.

On the 19th of December 2008, I lost my mother who was so dear to me. She died of ovarian cyst that had developed into cancer due to neglect. After some days, I received a letter from my uncle saying that because my mother and her sister died of cancer, all the girls in my family should go for a proper medical check-up. Honestly, fear came in. I started having different "thought bombs". I confided in my husband and he told me that my root has been changed, which I already knew. Whenever my husband was around, I would try as much as possible to confess right but whenever I was alone, fear would come.

I thank God I was in Church on the first Sunday of 2009, when Pastor preached on, Keys To Your Pleasant Places. She mentioned my case when she was talking about pleasant words and she even called my name: Rose. Since that day, I have been listening to that message and the fear of cancer is now a thing of the past. I thank God for pleasant thoughts and pleasant words.
