28 “Therefore may God give you of the dew of heaven, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.
29 Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, and blessed be those who bless you!”
Genesis 27:28-29
The verses contain The Blessing that was pronounced upon Jacob, the tomorrow thinker, by his father Isaac.
When Isaac blessed Jacob and declared that God would give him of “the dew of heaven,” what did he mean? A man of God once said, “Rain is seasonal, but dew falls daily; it is not seasonal.” Isaac was referring to the constant favour of God in Jacob’s life and you can receive the same blessing for yourself. This was not a seasonal favour. It means that daily, you are blessed. Isaac went on to mention “the fatness of the earth” as an expression of The Blessing upon Jacob. He was speaking about richness. Richness does not just deal with quantity but also deals with quality. Isaac was talking about the quality of your life. God wants you to enjoy a good quality life. You must be a tomorrow thinker in order to enjoy this blessing. You don’t plan for a good quality life at the end of your life; you plan for it today and waltz into it in your tomorrow.
Confession:
The Blessing rests upon me daily and richly. The fatness of the earth belongs to my Father and He has given it to me to richly enjoy. I have so much abundance coming my way. God is also giving me ideas that will make me profit from what He has given me.
