Some time ago, I was taken to the hospital because I was hit on my right eye while playing basketball. My vision was blurry and everything looked milky white from that eye. The doctors prescribed some drugs, which turned out to be fake. I was later taken to another doctor who tried to convince my parents that a small surgery was required to wash the blood away by making a small incision in my eye. At that time, it seemed right and the surgery was to commence immediately but the Spirit of God told us something was wrong, and when my dad called his eye doctor abroad, he confirmed our uneasiness by telling us that if my eye was cut open, I will bleed till blindness. I started asking questions and began to doubt God. I felt like everything was going downhill for me. My parents flew me abroad and I started taking treatments and going for appointments regularly. The pressure in my eye was really high, thereby increasing the risks of glaucoma and eventual blindness. After a while, I realized that I was being foolish for almost falling for the mirage that the devil set for me. I watched a message Pastor Sola preached on Praise, “Hallal,” and I started thanking God because, I played that day with my glasses on and they could have broken in my eyes; things could have been worse but to the glory of God, they were much better. During my next appointment, the doctors were so shocked because my eye pressure shot back to normal. I was taken for an ultra scan to confirm it; nothing in my eye was damaged! “Nothing missing, nothing broken!” The doctors were amazed.
God came through for me. The devil tried to steal what was already mine but he should know that God will always win. He tried to create havoc but I ended up stronger than I ever was. I want to thank my pastors for the undiluted Word that strengthened me throughout that period of trial; my parents, family and friends for being there for me and supporting me morally, financially and spiritually.
