6 And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:6

You have been made to sit with Christ in heavenly places. The heavenly places where Christ is seated are far above principalities and power and every name that is named not only in this age, but in the age to come (Ephesians 1:19- 21). God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). If God has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, and you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places then you are seated in a place of blessings. “Every spiritual blessing” does not mean intangible, abstract things. These spiritual blessings translate into tangible blessings in your day-to- day life.

It then means that demons purportedly “pursuing” you every night like some Christians often say, should not be your primary focus. If demons have been doing that, don’t let them pursue you anymore. “Every spiritual blessing,” does not include demonic oppression.

In Psalm 23:6, the Bible doesn’t say that witches and wizards will follow you all the days of your life. It says goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life. Fill yourself with this truth. As a child of God, trials will come. That’s why God made us partakers of His anointing with Christ. That’s why He raised us up together with Christ to sit together with Him in heavenly places with none other than Christ Jesus. Though challenges may come, you have what it takes to overcome every challenge with the anointing of God. The Bible says that Christ has the anointing without measure (John 3:34). If He has it without measure then every believer can draw from that anointing and it will not run dry because it’s without measure! Enjoy your position of victory – seated together with Him in the heavenly places.
