I worked in a company as a casual/contract staff for 11 years and 6 months, which had never happened before in the history of the company right from its inception. When it was time for promotion my name would not be included for the fact that I am not an indigene, not from the ruling tribe, had no godfather, etc. I started worshipping with The Carpenter's Church. The preaching and teaching from the Pastors gave me hope and I believed God that my story would change. In one of the services Pastor Nkechi prophesied, “When the blessings of God will come upon you, people will ask, 'How manage? Is that not…?' People will open their mouths. People will even 'kolo.' ” And Pastor Charles declared, “Promotion does not come from North or South, East or West: it comes from God and what God does is forever.”

Today I've been elevated from contract to senior staff in another department, which had never happened before right from the inception of the company 28 years ago. People ask, “How manage? Is that not…?” People are opening their mouths because they know that I don't have anybody in the management circle. I thank God for His faithfulness and the Pastors for revealing to me what I did not know. I am now walking in my pleasant places. To God be the glory.
