After my quiet time in first week of January 2015, I wrote down all the things I was believing God for in 2015, the year of the take over. One of my requests was for my immediate elder sister and my twin sister to get married this year. Sometime in 2014, a sister in church who had been believing God for a spouse got married. I did not attend the wedding because it was a private one, but on the day of their thanksgiving in church, Pastor Nkechi came up the stage after praying for them and jokingly said if she were a single sister in church she would sow into the sister’s life because she is a good soil to sow into.
Immediately I heard clearly a voice that said act on this immediately. I was cash trapped because I had just returned from a business trip. However, not minding what I had at hand I decided to act immediately as the voice instructed me to because Pastor Nkechi said the sister was to leave the country immediately with her husband.
After service that day I rushed out to get the sister’s account details, so I could transfer the little cash I had in my account. I remembered telling the sister that day, “Please bear with me. Whatever I transfer to you, just know I am doing it as a point of contact for my two sisters. I am believing God for a spouse for each of them.” In return, the sister held my hands, almost crying, and said to me, “Leah, the God that did it for me will surely do it for whosoever you are standing in for.” I replied by hugging her and saying a loud, “Amen!”
As soon as I got home, I brought out my bank token to do the transfer, but Satan as usual came reminding me of all the things I needed to do with the money, but I did not give room for distraction. I went ahead to do the transfer, thanking God for fresh ideas and directions.
Four months later, I went on vacation with my kids. While there my immediate sister who has been married and divorced called me that she would be visiting the same state my kids and I were and she hopes to see us.
She came with a friend whom she had introduced to me as a good friend. The good thing about it was that my sister’s friend that stays in the same state invited us to her house to host all of us. After eating enough and drinking with everyone we were all very happy. The next thing we heard was, “In fact, let me get it started,” and immediately I turned to actually know what they were getting started with, there was my sister’s friend kneeling down with a diamond ring asking my very own blood if she would marry him. My sister out of shock wanted to run out of the sitting room, but the guy held her and begged for the second time if my sister would marry him and she said, “Yes I will; yes I will!”
God has indeed proved to me that He is a present help in time of need. He was that voice that told me to act quickly upon Pastor Nkechi’s words.
My miracle is still unfolding and all I need to do is to remain sensitive to always hear from God. I thank my dearest pastor. Her joke turned out to bless me tremendously. Praise God!
