On the first day of the Hallelujah Week 2015, our biannual prayer week; I was at home preparing to go to church when my husband called me with excitement in his voice that our very good friend who also happens to be his boss had given him the keys to a beautiful BMW X5 SUV. I was amazed and started praising God. Hallelujah Week had barely begun and we had already been blessed with a car that we did not even pray nor pay for.

The very next day, I went to thank our friend in his office for the gift of the car and to invite him to my husband’s fiftieth birthday celebration. Our friend asked about our plans for celebrating the birthday and I told him. After telling him the plans for the party, he asked me to calculate the cost of all the food to be eaten that day that he was going to pay.

We had planned to have a small party for our friends and well-wishers in our house since fifty years was a major milestone worth celebrating; instead, we ended up having a party in an event centre.

God exceeded our expectations and provided more than what we had asked for. We got so much financial and material gifts.

The year 2015 was indeed our year to take over. This has been the best year of our lives. We were not expecting any car as we already have cars and buying a new one was not a priority, but God who is rich in mercy gave us a wonderful birthday present. My husband’s health has been restored and his youth is being renewed daily like that of the eagle’s. We give God all the praise. We thank God for our dear pastor, Pastor Nkechi Ene and Pastor Sola for teaching us the truth of God’s Word.
