I want to thank God for His mighty Hand of deliverance. On Sunday the 10th of November, my children and I came out to get a cab to church. My husband was already in church, because he was on duty in the children’s church. After flagging a cab and agreeing with the driver on the fare, I put my children in the back seat and went round to use the other door before. But amazingly the driver zoomed off with my children, aged six, five and three.

It happened so fast, and I began to scream and call for help, shouting that someone should stop the cab driver, but there was no one in sight and the street was empty, save for a few people going to church. In my helpless state, God came through for me when a man who had just come to his church on my street heard and saw me screaming.

He immediately went after the driver and intercepted him. I later caught up with them and both of us asked the driver where he intended taking my children to. He replied by saying he thought I was in the vehicle before he zoomed off. That was a lie because he had turned in the opposite direction from where we agreed. I give God praise because the story would have been different if not for His mercies. Praise the Lord!
