In 2003 I was arrested on the allegation that I was a cult member involved in a murder case, which took place in my vicinity. I was taken to CPS, Port Harcourt, from where I was charged to court and remanded in the prison custody awaiting the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Nobody came or filed for the DPP’s advice, but The Carpenter’s Church Jubilee Prison Ministry kept visiting us. I got born again during one of the meetings when an altar call was made. Now my faith has improved greatly. I now read my bible and pray on my own.
I trusted God for my release, and when the First Lady’s amnesty was granted, I was among the 100 people who were released.
My special thanks goes to The Carpenter’s Church and Pastor Nkechi for being there for me. May God give you more strength to win many more souls for God.
