I Thank God for Stepping in

Sometime in March 2012, my mother developed an injury on the ankle of her right leg, for which there was no explainable cause, since no one could trace how she got wounded. It had happened before and the wound stayed for over a year, until she got healed in 2010. This time it came suddenly and was rapidly developing and enlarging. My siblings and I did all we could to get help, but nothing worked. We took her to the hospital several times, but the results of the tests she took showed that she wasn’t diabetic as suspected by the doctors! After some time, the doctors couldn’t do anything to help her, so they asked us to look for help elsewhere. Everyone available at any given time would play the nurse to her, even our house-help learnt to treat the wound too.

I tabled the matter before God, because I knew it would take a supernatural touch for that leg to be healed. I continually trusted in the faithfulness of God, and believed she would be fine. Interestingly, during one of the healing services in 2013, Pastor Nkechi gave a word of knowledge that a prolonged injury on the right leg was getting healed. She prayed and commanded the wound to dry up. I received that word on my mother’s behalf, because at that point the injury had gotten worse. When I went to visit her, I transferred the healing anointing to her through prayers, as prophesied by Pastor Nkechi. I visited her again in December 2013, and my attention was drawn to the leg. I noticed that the wound had started drying up. I was very excited and kept thanking God for her healing.

I visited her subsequently, and saw that the wound had finally dried up, and the mouth that was enlarged was sealed. I thank God for stepping in right on time. Apart from the wound, my mother’s health has also been restored and she is far better than the way she used to be!
