I would like to really thank God for the miracle I experienced in the area of my health. I started having some terrible symptoms which included a fever and severe pain in my lower right back. When the pain persisted, I realized that it was reminiscent of the pain I had some years ago when I was diagnosed with kidney stones. It was really tough because our help had traveled and my wife was feeling down because of her pregnancy then. We could not travel for Christmas like we had planned. Our children were barely getting any attention at all. I could not put on the generator to charge our phones, so we remained incommunicado. We resorted to spending our Christmas at Pastor Charles’ place.

While there I was on pain killers and I could only lie down on the floor throughout because of pains. At some point, I developed an infection and malaria as well. In fact, my family members who had traveled ahead of us contemplated coming back to be sure we were okay.

Coincidentally, my sister’s friend was also having a kidney issue so you can imagine the panic at that time. I kept quoting Scriptures when I could but it could not have been too much because concentrating on tasks had become a bit tough and I was also having side effects from the drugs I was taking. After the 31st Night service, my family had to move in with a family friend for a week. I practically missed the first eight days of work in January because I was weak. I was advised to go home.

Eventually, Pastor Nkechi gave a word of knowledge and requested people with problems with internal organs to place their hands and pray. I was so absent minded that it did not occur to me that my case had been called until my wife squeezed my hand and I figured it out.

The next day I went back for the result of the kidney function test I had taken and was informed that my kidneys are in perfect condition and that the only problem then was malaria. From that point on, I got better except for the pain while urinating. A week later, I passed out the stones while urinating and have had no pain since then. I thank God because there will never be a repeat formation of stones or any other kidney related issues.
