I Kept Praying and Declaring That My Body Was the Temple of God

Four months after the delivery of my daughter, I started experiencing sharp pains on my right side. I went to the hospital, and was told to run series of tests and scans which I did. I was also given some drugs to take home with me, but the pain persisted and grew more intense every day, so much so that I could hardly stand, eat or even carry my baby without feeling the pain. I went back to the clinic several times to complain hoping they would be other solutions, but it was the same old story; malaria, after childbirth contractions, two much white blood cells and whatever they could think of.

I just kept praying and declaring that my body was the temple of God and not a place for nameless pains. On a Broken Wall Sunday service, when it was time for Pastor Charles to come out and preach, Pastor Nkechi, got up to say something that really connected with me. She said a lot of us come expecting our case to be called by Pastor Charles, and when we don’t hear our case, we go home disappointed and depressed and miss the whole essence of the teaching we have heard which should build our faith and release the power of God to heal us whether our case is called or not.

As the preaching was going on Pastor gave a word of knowledge concerning someone with severe pains and immediately I heard that I was happy that Pastor had called my case. Only for him to burst my bubble by saying the pain was on the left and I was feeling mine on the right, so I became disappointed.

Quickly, I remembered what Pastor Nkechi had said earlier and I felt great again. I started thanking God for the Word I had heard through Pastor Charles, and I told myself although the case he called was about someone with pains on the left side, I have faith to believe that my own pain, which was on my right side, had left my body too.

In the evening of that Sunday, my husband and I were watching a programme on the television when I felt the urge to urinate. So I went to the bathroom and as soon as I stooped to do so, something heavy came out instead of urine. I quickly got up to see what it was before I continued. Wow! It was a stone!! In disbelief I reached into the bowl to confirm and truly it was a stone.

I went to the sitting room and showed my husband who was as shocked as I was, we tried to figure out how, and also to justify what happened. While doing that a thought came to my mind that this was the cause of my pain, and I said it aloud and claimed my healing.

It’s been a while now and I feel perfectly okay, no pains at all. I just want to say, “Thank you Jesus!” Thank you Pastor for the undiluted Word you preach that has helped me grow in faith.
