To God be the glory I delivered a baby boy on the 18th of July 2011 after the twins I had in May 2010.
This is a testimony for me because as a matter of fact I had 3 children in 15 months. Is God not wonderful?
First of all, I delivered a set of twins (a boy and a girl) after 6 years of marriage. Even though I got some medical assistance, I remember the doctor categorically stating after the procedure that he has done his part and the rest was left for God. That statement only passed across to me a message that the doctor did not have the final say in the matter. Only God did.
I acknowledge the fact that it was by God’s grace that I had a successful procedure, pregnancy and delivery, because there are cases where such things have actually failed. I broke all the rules and regulations given to me by the doctor, and at some point I felt I had lost the pregnancy, but God who started it was going to finish it.
After the delivery of the twins, the doctor in America who is supposed to be an expert in his field told my husband and I that it was a wise decision for us to have resorted to medical assistance because I could not have gotten pregnant naturally due to a condition he said I had: endometriosis. He said it causes infertility and if I ever needed to have any more children I still had to undergo the same medical procedure. I responded in my heart thanking God that I already had the twins so I won’t bother having children any more. Although this decision was against my wish, it was like I was left with no choice based on the present circumstance. I never knew that God who can do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine was going to bypass this limitation in my case just as my pastor prophesied at the beginning of that year.
I did not know that as I was giving the first testimony, God was preparing a bigger one for me. I could have given into feeling bad because of the report I got from the doctor, but while I was yet praising God, He gave me another reason to praise Him again and again. God saw me through the pregnancy and I went back to the same doctor for delivery. When I told him that the pregnancy was without medical assistance, the amazement on his face was a sight to behold. He asked me how it happened and I told him it was God. Surprisingly, after the delivery of my baby, the doctor said that he checked again and I still had the so-called endometriosis, so he was wondering how I got pregnant in spite of it. I again told him it was the hand of God Almighty.
I remember telling God that I wanted my testimony to cause men to fear before Him and that has been the case. God is still in the business of doing wonders and miracles so please don’t give up, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint. I delivered my baby boy safely and now suddenly I have three children.
To God be all the glory and honour in Jesus’ name. Amen.
