I used to suffer from catarrh and cough, which would degenerate into difficulty in breathing, and then the symptoms would disappear. The last time it happened, I found it very difficult to breathe. I had to heave up my torso to be able to breathe in, occasionally placing my hands on my knees like a sprinter who just finished racing. I panted when talking or walking. On a certain night I could not sleep till the wee hours of the morning. I usually felt better during the day and worse at night.

Sometime in June last year, I felt sore in my throat, which later resulted in catarrh and cough. After service the next day, I got home and lay down to read a book before sleeping, but the pain was so intense that I had to close the book and speak healing to my body. I could not do it with much assurance or boldness because of my brothers’ presence, and my normal disposition gave no one a hint of what was happening. I was unable to breathe comfortably, my face felt hot and my body subsequently got hotter. I was at the verge of screaming, because I couldn’t breathe in. The fear of not surviving the night crept into my mind, but I began to declare God’s Word on healing very loud and clear. After a while, I visualized my healing by the stripes of Jesus. Immediately, I felt a whiff of fresh air in my nostrils, and I received my healing!

This made me laugh and I thanked God for my healing to the amazement of my brothers, who stared at me as though something had gone wrong. Thank you Jesus for your Word works wonders in this ministry.
