My husband and I started trusting God for a child immediately we got married. Then in 2010, we started praying and standing in faith for our baby based on His Word, which says, “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days” (Exodus 23:25–26). I kept holding on to those words knowing that He is always faithful to do that which He has promised and I also helped myself by listening to messages.

In April 2010, my menstruation came and lasted for just a day and a half. When I told my husband about it, he insisted I called the doctor to find out what it meant. I did but he asked me not to worry, but that I should watch out for the coming month. As my menstrual period approached, precisely on the 4th of May, I had this very severe abdominal pain and I was overtaken by so much fear. Two days later (on the 6th), while asleep I heard a voice; a prophetic word that said, “It’s a done deal.” I immediately woke up, woke my husband up and told him that I would like to listen to that message preached by Pastor Charles. Not really understanding what I was saying at the moment, my husband simply said it was okay and went back to sleep.

We went to church the following Sunday and I bought the tape and listened to it over and over again. The next day when my period did not start, as it should have, I went for a pregnancy test and it was confirmed that I was pregnant and on the 18th of January 2011, I gave birth to my bundle of joy. Today, I am a living witness that the Word works.

I thank my pastors for allowing God to use them to be a blessing to my family.
