He Came Through for Me

During the Week of Glory, precisely on Tuesday, 26th of June 2012 after the service, I saw Pastor Charles about to enter his car. I walked by and greeted him as I normally would do but as I was about to walk away, he asked, “How is your work?” I was surprised and I hesitated in answering, because I didn’t know whether to answer by faith or to go into details. He repeated it and I then went closer to him and told him that I had been out of work for about six months. He echoed, “Six months? So what have you been doing?” I told him that I was doing business while trying to get another job. Patting me fatherly at the back, he said, “Don’t worry, another job will come,” and I said, “Amen.” That was it for me! I went home rejoicing and declaring my new job.

Three days later, someone called telling me that I had been scheduled for an interview the following Monday with an establishment I had been trying to get into for over a year. To cut the long story short, the interview was successful. I resumed work on the 6th of August.

The job came with an increase of about 61% above what I earned in my previous job with a lot of perks to go with it. I give God all of the glory and thank Him for placing me in a ministry like this and giving me a father and a good under-shepherd – one that looks out for his sheep at all times, in a world where there are many hirelings.

This is in line with 2 Chronicles 20:20, which says, “Believe in the Lord and you shall be established and believe in His prophet and you shall prosper.”

God is a story changer and a way maker. Just like Pastor Nkechi had said during one of her messages, The Season of Glory (Part 2), “You can believe God for anything. You may be trusting God for one thing or the other, keep at it, He will surely come through for you.”

He came through for me and I want to encourage everyone to receive every word preached from TCC pulpit as a rhema word from God because with God all things are possible. I am riding on the waves of His glory and my season of glory is here to stay. I give God praise and I say a big thank you from the depth of my heart to Pastor Charles.
