A few months ago, I took my daughter to a salon to braid her hair. I dropped her off and proceeded to buy her a particular Bible which I had promised to get for her. As I got to the shop, I turned to pick my handbag from the back seat of the car only to discover that I had left the bag at the salon. I panicked because I had a lot of personal effects in the bag. I immediately drove back to the salon to get it. My prayer was, “Oh God, please keep my handbag safe till I get there.” As I got to the salon, someone came out with the handbag, apologizing that she only saw it after I left. I thanked her and drove back to the shop to get the Bible for my daughter.
At the entrance to the street, I saw military men everywhere. As I drove down and parked the car, I noticed that the whole street was deserted. I later learnt that after I left to get my handbag, robbers visited the area. God allowed me to forget my handbag, thereby, preventing me from a possible attack by the robbers. I give God all the praise.
