In July 2009, few days before I was to depart to NYSC Camp, I was driving home with a friend talking normally and then I felt a sharp pain, under my left breast. I stopped talking and drove home very slowly. When I got home, I called a family doctor and she told me it must be muscle pain and prescribed some painkillers. I went to Camp days later.
After the first day of physical exercise, I started feeling pains. I went to the Camp clinic and the doctors on call gave me more painkillers and told me to refrain from any strenuous activity. They said, once I got out of Camp, I should see a doctor and go for ECHOCARDIOGRAM (ECG) test. I kept speaking God’s Word and once I got out of Camp, I booked an appointment to see a doctor. He asked me to go for an ECG and other tests. The results showed that among other things, I recently had myocardial damage. This meant I had a recent heart failure. Even walking was so difficult; I couldn’t walk a short distance without feeling faint. He asked me to see a cardiologist to commence treatment.
BWHS was a few days coming, so I came with a lot of expectancy knowing my healing was a sure thing. During the service I was still experiencing serious chest pains and I couldn’t even sit up during the service. Then Pastor Charles said there was someone with a heart condition who was diagnosed and was feeling pains in the chest region at the moment and the person was healed. I took my healing that day.
I went to see the consultant the next day. I didn’t drive; I walked a long distance and didn’t even notice it. When he saw me, he said he didn’t believe the report I had and he didn’t think anything was wrong with me. He referred me to the cardiologist for confirmation. I walked there and back and didn’t even notice because I was free. I saw the cardiologist again a few weeks later and the results came out fine, my heart was in good condition, no recent damage. In short, my heart was perfect. I am healed and I live a normal life now.
God is indeed a healer and a faithful Father.
