6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

Our text shows that God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. “Reward” from the Greek context means remuneration. In turn, remuneration means profit, to pay salary, to reward. God will remunerate you. God will give you profit because you serve Him. He has said it in His Word. As long as I serve the Lord diligently, I’m not afraid or in doubt as to whether God will bless me. It is certain that He will bless me. I am sure like I know day from night, that God will always reward me.

Your best days are yet to come. Before you came on the scene He said He would reward those that diligently seek Him. That includes all kinds of rewards even through the most unusual people. Your boss may be a Spirit-filled, tongue-talking Christian who could still decide to be selfish; or even an atheist who could show you kindness. Realize that God, whom you serve, is the One who rewards you. He is able to place men in your path that will yield to His plan and be avenues for His reward to get to you.

You must know this: there is a time to eat your reward. There is a due season (Ecclesiastes 3:1). If you do something out of the due season, you are in disorder. You stand the risk of losing the blessings and the rewards of Almighty God. One man that ate his reward before the time is Esau. In the following days I’ll tell you what caused him to eat his reward before the time and we shall see the consequences, so that we can avoid the same pitfalls that he fell into.
