Sometime in July my mum was brought to Port Harcourt because her blood pressure was very high and her sugar level was high too. This made her left hand and her head to be moving without control. I took her to the Hospital where she was admitted. After some days the movement continued. While in the hospital, I was praying and breaking bread with her. She was discharged after 17 days in the hospital.
After two weeks the movement started again more serious than before. When we went on our appointment day they wanted to admit her. I refused and told them that she can be coming every Monday from home. It continued and became very bad to the extent that when she gets to the hospital, everybody would be looking at her because the movement is strange to them. The doctor still insisted on admitting her. I agreed but deep down in me I didn't want it. Incidentally there was no bed space.
Meanwhile in the hospital, we did series of tests including brain scan. It was said that she has a lesion when she had stroke and that even if she would be operated on, it wouldn't be here in Nigeria, and we should make arrangements to send her outside the country. I had to stand in faith with her as we held our hands together to pray and continually broke bread. On the 14th of September after Pastor Nkechi preached on healing she said those that are sick in their bodies should stand up and touch the part of the body. I stood up for my mum and put my hand on my head. After the prayer I thanked God for her healing.
The next morning we were supposed to check if there was any bed space. I noticed she wasn't moving her hand and head again. After about 30 minutes I went to her room again and there was no movement of her hand and head. I asked her if she was feeling any pains in her neck. She said no. This is the same neck she had been complaining of every time. We didn't bother going to the hospital again until Friday of that week. It didn't, hasn't and shall never come back again because I know God has totally healed her. Even her blood sugar that has never been anything less than 11.5, has not been anything higher than 9.5 since that day.
I thank God for the message of that day and the healing. I also thank Pastor Nkechi for making herself available for God to use her as a shepherd to us.
