Sometime last year, I was taken to the hospital because I was hit on my right eye while playing basketball. My vision was blurred and everything looked milky white from that eye. The doctors prescribed some medication, which turned out to be fake drugs. I was later taken to another doctor who convinced my parents that a small surgery was required to clean the blood by making a small incision in my eye. At the time, it seemed right and the surgery was to commence immediately, but the Spirit of God told us something was wrong. When my dad called his eye doctor abroad, he confirmed our uneasiness by telling us that if my eye was cut open, it would bleed till blindness. I started asking questions and even doubted God. I felt like everything was going downhill for me.

My parents flew me abroad where I started taking treatments and going for appointments regularly. The pressure in my eye was very high, thereby increasing the risks of glaucoma and eventually blindness. After a while, I realized that I was being foolish for ALMOST falling for the mirage the devil had set for me. I watched a message Pastor Sola preached on Praise, Hallal, and I started thanking God. I had played basketball that day with my glasses on and it could have broken into my eyes; things could have been worse but to the glory of God, it was much better. I believe my praise strengthened my faith and triggered what happened next.

During my next appointment, the doctors were so shocked because my eye pressure shot back to normal. I was taken for an ultra-scan to confirm it; nothing in my eye was damaged! There was nothing missing, nothing broken! The doctors were amazed.

God came through for me. The devil tried to steal what was already mine but he should have known that God would always win. He tried to create havoc but I ended up stronger than I ever was.

I want to thank my pastors for the undiluted Word that strengthened me through that time of trial. I also want to thank my parents, family and friends for being there for me, supporting me morally, financially and spiritually.
