My neighbour had a health challenge, which started off as a pain in his waist, but later developed into a spinal cord condition. It was so severe that he could not kneel, sit or stand, but had to lie down always. The doctors concluded that he would be operated upon.

When I heard about his condition, I took out a weekend to pray for him. Coincidentally, it was the last weekend of the month, culminating in a Broken Wall Healing School Service. During worship that Sunday, the power of God was so tangible that I was overwhelmed and broken. In my brokenness, I asked Jesus not to only heal him, but change his spinal cord. I also prayed that Pastor Charles would mention his case. Pastor did not mention his case specifically; rather, he said that God would change some people’s body parts. My joy knew no bounds, because I knew that his spinal cord was among the parts to be changed.

The following Sunday, I was shocked when Pastor Charles said, “There is someone with a spinal cord problem, it is so terrible that it makes you uncomfortable, you are healed by the power of God.” I raised my hands immediately, claimed the healing and started praising God. I was sure that it was done!

By Thursday that week, I received a call from my mum; she was shouting as she gave me the testimony. She said that our neighbour had gotten up from his bed and came to our house, unaided. She said he miraculously got up on Wednesday! God answers prayers indeed. He changed his spinal cord. Praise God!
