17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Romans 1:17

The word “live” is from the Greek word Zoe. Zoe is God’s kind of life; the abundant life of God; the absolute fullness of life. It also means real, genuine and vigorous life. Zoe is what Jesus Christ came to give us. In John 10:10, He said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life (Zoe), and that they may have it more abundantly.” The abundant life that Jesus came to give includes abundant health, wealth, direction, peace and joy. It is an abundance of everything good. This is the reason why Jesus Christ came.

The just shall experience Zoe by faith. The believer experiences the absolute life of God according to his level of faith. So if a believer has weak faith and another believer has great faith, by virtue of their levels of faith, one will experience a smaller portion of the abundant life of God than the other. Someone else who has exceedingly growing faith, will experience an exceedingly growing increase in his experience of the life of God. It is that simple. It is with your faith that you access the abundant grace of God.

Your experience of the Zoe kind of life is proportional to your level of faith. Your experience of Zoe cannot exceed your level of faith. If you have little faith you will experience little health. If you have little faith you will experience little direction. If you have little faith you will experience abject poverty because you cannot experience wealth beyond your level of faith. You hold the key to your experience of Zoe.
