“When the Lord asked our Founding President, Pastor Charles Omofomah, to come to Port Harcourt (a city he had never lived in before) to start a brand new Ministry, he took out time to pray and fast for the new project. His main prayer point was for human resources – people who, at different times and in different capacities, would run with the vision and work as a Team to bring it into reality. By faith, I take every Staff Partner and others yet to come, to be an answer to that prayer. We believe that our Staff Partners make up a formidable work force that effectively function as the nerve center of the Ministry. May the oil never run dry in our wheels of service thus enabling us exhibit the excellence that the ministry stands for.”
As a Ministry, we place a high value on our Staff Partners and we work in a “family” atmosphere. Our Staff Partners identify strongly with the Vision of the Ministry and they share a sense of ownership to the Organization, with new Staff Partners easily integrated into the communications and social fabric of the Ministry.
Our Staff Partners are Spirit filled and skillful and we expect them to be self-motivated enough to constantly aim for a higher level of efficiency in their jobs. This is encouraged by training and also by developing their skills and exposing them to their occupational peers in other organizations.
Although we can stay with proven methods, we are not afraid to explore new ways of doing things even when there is a high risk involved. We are disciplined enough to work with a standards-based control structure seen in our procedures and strong code of ethics and integrity. However we are flexible and pragmatic enough to keep the satisfaction of our end-users at the very core of what we do.
