I am here to testify of God’s faithfulness upon family and me. The 10th of December, 2018 marks exactly one year God gave us the privilege of standing on the altar of The Carpenter’s Church to testify of the Lord’s faithfulness upon our lives as a family and we dedicated our bundle of joy, Princess Adiel Gerry Ikputu to God on our fourteenth year of marriage.
On the day of the dedication, as Pastor Nkechi Ene who dedicated our baby held our daughter Adiel, she declared that through the testimony of her birth many would receive their testimonies and that Adiel is an open door to other children in our union. Indeed, the Lord has and will continue to honour His Word.
A friend of mine, whom I had invited but missed our baby dedication, came to visit my baby and me at home a month after the dedication. She too had been waiting for nineteen years for the fruit of the womb. I handed my baby over to her and prayed with her, declaring that Adiel is a child that came as the fulfilment of God’s Word, and that my man of God released God’s mandate during her dedication that as many that desired and believed God, this same testimony would be replicated in their lives as they hear and connect to our testimony.
I declared that this my friend would receive God’s miracle and a change of name as God’s Word said in Isaiah 62:2 and that it would be so in nine months’ time and we both said, “Amen.” I shared my testimony of the IVF procedure I did with her and encouraged her to go for it. She agreed but complained that her husband had never been in support of them going for the procedure. It has been a challenge for them as he does not believe in it even though she had made attempts to speak to him concerning it. I encouraged her to go to God in prayers, declaring that her husband’s heart is in God’s hand and He will turn it in her favour to bring about their testimony. She did this and to cut the long story short, she has just been delivered of a baby girl after 19 years of marriage.
The second person is a lady with whom my husband shared our testimony. We both met and prayed together, and we also declared that because God is no respecter of persons, what He has done for us, He will yet replicate in their family. To the glory of God, this lady has also been blessed with a set of twins.
My joy knew no bounds when I visited a clinic to run some medical tests for a nanny I had just employed. I met the receptionist of the clinic with whom my friend had shared our testimony. My friend whose husband owned the clinic had to introduce my baby and I said, “These are the people whose testimony I shared with you”. The lady was so excited to hold Adiel. She admired my baby and said she desired a beautiful baby like mine. I smiled at her and allowed her to carry my baby. I remember telling her that God’s faithfulness will locate her and cause her to testify, just as we have. I then encouraged her to keep holding on to God’s promises and one day, her joy will be full. Glory to God, a few months later, my friend came visiting and mentioned that God has blessed the lady. Indeed, our God is dependable, faithful, never failing and a promise keeper. Glory to His mighty name and thank God for giving us a man of God who speaks and declares God’s heart.
