35 “And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
36 Then that food shall be as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which shall be in the land of Egypt, that the land may not perish during the famine.”

Genesis 41:35-36

There have always been two tomorrows. That was what God showed to Joseph in the foreign land of Egypt. As he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, God told him two tomorrows were coming. One of them would be a lean tomorrow; but the other tomorrow that would also come would be a fat tomorrow. God showed him that the way Egypt was going to be free was by the people paying 20% tax instead of 10% tax. The people obeyed God and so Egypt became the distribution centre because they did something that other nations did not do. This is what God meant when He told Abraham that in blessing he would be blessed and will make him a blessing (Genesis 12:2-3). Don’t consider your- self a blessed man until you become a distribution centre.

Genesis 41:35-36 inspired a message I preached many years ago. That message was titled, Joseph’s Principles For Impacting Nations. With the size of our church then, we had no business talk- ing about impacting nations. Yet we believed in our vision. Many brethren took a step of faith after that prophetic message and began to tithe 20% of their income and not the recommended 10%. They willingly went the extra mile and still gave offerings and it all happened with a supernatural understanding they had received. They may not have realized it, but in doing so they created their own tomorrows, which they are living in, happily today. Their sacrificial giving also enabled us as a church to continue to increase as a distribution centre.

There are two tomorrows and irrespective of whichever one comes, you shouldn’t be bothered. If you have been casting your bread on the waters when the lean tomorrow comes, you will not lack, instead, you will become a distribution centre. When what you have given comes back to you, it will come in a greater proportion and you will enjoy a fat tomorrow. This way, God will use you to take care of the nations of the world and spread the good news of His kingdom.

Confession:
Irrespective of whichever tomorrow comes, I am not bothered because I constantly cast my bread upon the waters. When times are lean for others, I remain a distribution centre.
