First, when I was admitted into the Scarlet Thread Home, I thought that I wouldn’t come out of menstrual cramps. Even when I came to the home, I had to come along with some pills and even thought of having some more when the one I had finished. This was to help alleviate the pains because that was how I had lived before.
I never had it in mind that ladies could live without menstrual cramps. Sometimes, I even said it was impossible because I passed through hell during those periods.
Before I came to the home, I had passed through series of pains in my lower abdomen and it wasn’t easy for me because I had to stool frequently and even engaged all manner of exercises like rolling on the ground, standing, and a lot more. I remember vividly that it was when I was initially admitted into the home that one of the ladies said to me, “In the home, you don’t live with menstrual cramps.” In my mind, I said, “You don’t know how many years I’ve been battling with it.”
It was not until I heard the message titled The Healing Word that I decided to take a bold step of faith to choose the healing word for my life.In that message series, Pastor Kech made a particular statement, “God is interested in your peculiar and particular situation,” and that the Jesus I serve now can handle every situation I bring His way. According to Matthew 9:20-22 it talks about the woman with the issue of blood, how she heard and acted on what she heard.
To the glory of God, I also acted on those words that Pastor Kech said and I got my healing completely.Praise God!
