Another Chance

30 Then Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.

Judges 16:30

You can try a second, third, or fourth time in the same place where you have failed and succeed. When Peter began to sink he did something: he cried out to Jesus for help (Matthew 14:30). If you must flow in the miracle of another chance, the first thing you must do is call and cry out unto God. When you call on God you are saying that you are still depending on Him because you have attempted and failed and you don’t have any option than to hold unto Him who can never fail. When you do that, God will surely see that you go through successfully. Exactly the same thing happened to Samson.

Samson had failed. He had failed to the point that he had lost his eyes, but the Bible says his hair which was symbolic of the source of power began to grow again, because God gave him another chance. When Samson was brought out to perform before the Philistines, he asked the lad who held him by the hand to help him let his hands feel the pillars of the building where he was performing. Then he prayed and called on the Name of the Lord (Judges 16:25-30).

God will never give up on you until you give up on yourself. Whether you fail once or a million times, God will still not give up on you. He will not give up on you because He is the referee who is biased in your favour. So, no matter how many times you are knocked down by the Devil, God says, “The fight is not over because I am the referee here and the final whistle won’t be blown until you win.”

If you must flow in the miracle of another chance, you must walk in the same place where you failed. You can succeed there. In the history of the world there are only two people that have successfully walked on water: Jesus and Peter. The second person tried the first time and he failed, but he tried the second time and he succeeded. You can succeed in the same place where you have failed before.

Confession: Father, I depend upon You to successfully go through that same place where I once failed.
