6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Philemon 6

You develop the ability to give a good report always by acknowledging every good thing concerning you in Christ. When the ten spies said they were like grasshoppers in their own sight (Numbers 13:33), they were not acknowledging every good thing in their lives. How can somebody who is in covenant with God Almighty say, “I am like a grasshopper?” One of the worst things you can do as a believer in Christ Jesus, is to call yourself who God did not call you.

God knew there were giants in the land, yet, He told the children of Israel that He had given them the land. Let me share a liberating truth that I discovered early in my Christian life: obstacles and oppositions do not make God change His mind about you. Too many believers talk their way into sickness, disease and untimely death. That way the communication of their faith is not effectual. There is no efficiency seen in your life as a believer when you talk like that. Make a decision today and talk about your successes, your victories. Say the good things God is doing in your life.

No matter how bleak a picture a circumstance or situation may paint, every child of God has something good to celebrate. God made a deposit in you and all that is in you is good, but you won’t see it manifested until you begin to acknowledge it. You acknowledge those good things by talking about them. If you have signs and symptoms of sickness, you are “the healed.” Don’t let the Devil put you in a situation where you say, “I’m sick, I’m trying to get well.” No! You are “the healed.” Acknowledge that you are not the sick trying to get well; acknowledge that you are “the healed” resisting sickness.

Confession:
I acknowledge every good thing concerning me in Christ Jesus. I acknowledge that I am not the sick trying to get well. I am the healed resisting sickness.
