I have found out that many times when believers hear or talk about faith they approach it with fear and trepidation. They consider themselves unworthy and not spiritual enough to live by faith. They say things like, “This mighty thing called faith that people say has to work for me; what if it doesn’t work for me?” Why shouldn’t it work for you? God is not a respecter of persons. You will never enjoy the victory by faith if you don’t first of all have a calmness of heart where faith is concerned. Don’t approach faith like some hard thing that you have been trying to understand since you got born again.

The Scriptures say that “The just shall live by faith.” Are you born again? If you are, then you are just. To “be just” means to be righteous. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Now, I want you to breathe. Are you breathing now? Are you thinking about breathing? Are you wondering if there is enough oxygen in the air for you to breathe? It’s exactly the same thing. You only know that you have been breathing because you are still alive, because if you weren’t breathing you would have dropped dead by now. Breathing is as natural to you as faith ought to be to the believer.

Faith is your inheritance. It is your right. It’s not something you think about, or crack your head about, asking, “When will I become like these people who live by faith?” Today, I want you to delete the fear, trepidation, myth, and difficulty with which a lot of believers approach faith, and declare “I too can live by faith!”

Confession:
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, therefore I live by faith. Faith is as natural to me as breathing is. There is calmness in my heart where faith is concerned. I totally eradicate fear, trepidation, myth and every difficulty erroneously associated with faith.
