After my SSCE examination, I decided to go and stay in Lagos for my holiday. While I was there, my caring sister bought me some food supplements, which I started taking. While I was taking the drugs, my body system was normal. It wasn’t until the medication finished that I realized I couldn’t breathe normally again. My sister quickly got some more and I started taking them again. Then I noticed that I was able to breathe normally once more. My breathing was hanging. When I inhale, I can’t freely exhale, so I find myself gasping desperately for breath.

I became concerned about this and started wondering how I am going to cope, living the rest of my life on medications. 

This actually continued for some years until it got to the point where I couldn’t bear it any longer. I told my sister, who is a nurse, and she asked me to come over to their hospital. When I got to the hospital, they recommended I run a test on my heart. They discovered that my heart was not well situated and referred me to FMC Umuahia, where they have a good cardiologist. It was determined that I had a respiratory problem and those symptoms persisted.

My sister,who went with me, asked me if I would like to believe God for a miracle. She reminded me that if I am going to go and continue to see the doctor, I should have in mind that money for the treatment may not be available. So, she encouraged me to believe God for my miracle. 

She invited me to stay in her house and placed me on faith confessions by Pastor Charles Omofomah. It was the interactive CD God’s Medicine. As I listened, I repeated after him. The first five days looked like as though nothing was happening but I continued, ignoring the stress and discomfort the health challenge brought my way. I remained sold out to God’s Word and the faith confessions. Before the eighth day, I couldn’t remember what exactly made me start the faith confessions. I knew I had a health challenge in my body but I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I became whole again as though I was never in any health challenge. All the symptoms have disappeared and I breathe very well again. His Word is indeed medicine to my flesh and it works! And to crown it all, it was all paid for by Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
