29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

John 20:29

An unbeliever operates by his five senses alone. The God-kind of faith is not available to him. Just like Thomas, the unbeliever needs his five senses to testify to the existence of something before he will believe it is real. The believer has an advantage the unbeliever does not have. He has a “sixth sense” – it is called supernatural faith. His faith is the evidence that something he cannot see or touch really exists.

Jesus said to Thomas, “You had to be reduced to your five senses before you accepted the truth. You had to put your hand and touch to make sure it was Me.” He then spoke of a people coming. He said to Thomas, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” It means Jesus was saying that this category of people is higher than those who need to see before they believe.

Those people are you and I. They are people that would not need to see before they believe. That’s a superior realm; the realm of faith. It’s the realm where your sixth sense operates. It is a realm where The Blessing operates. That’s the realm where you believe that you are healed even when every doctor’s report says you are not. It’s where you can believe that all your needs are met but your bank account is in red. It is a realm where you believe what the Word of God says about you but what the natural is telling you is the opposite. Jesus says if you are that kind of person, you are blessed. You are empowered to prosper because you can operate by your sixth sense.

We, who have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour can operate in a superior realm. It is the realm of supernatural faith.
