14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14

The Seed of the woman is the product of prophecy. Isaiah prophesied about the coming of the Seed of the woman before it actually happened. Someone may say, “So what is the big deal about the Seed of a woman being a product of prophecy?” How many people were prophesied about before they were born? When someone is prophesied about, whether for good or for bad, it shows that they are going to be great. Several years before Jesus showed up, He was prophesied about. That tells you that before the foundation of the world, the Seed of the woman had been destined for greatness.

If you are a child of God, you have this great Man on the inside of you. Therefore, there is nothing that should stop your own greatness upon the face of the earth. Timothy teaches us to wage a good warfare according to the to the prophecies that have previously been made concerning us (1 Timothy 1:18). When circumstances show up in your life and they seem to contradict what the Word of God has said concerning you, don’t despair and succumb to the pressure of those circumstances. You too can be a product of prophecy. Speak out what God has said about you and get those circumstances fleeing far away from you.

At Christmas, we are celebrating the birth and greatness of a Man who had been destined to be great even before He showed up. This Man happens to be your big brother. When you celebrate Christmas you’re also indirectly cele- brating your own greatness. In spite of the circumstances that you may be facing, you are destined to be great. That is good news.

Confession:
God knew me before I was conceived and born and He designed and destined me for greatness. Through the prophecies that have been previously made concerning me, I will wage a good warfare and become a product of those prophecies.
